Overview In this interview Ralph talks of his family history, education, employment, sporting interests, marriage and children. But predominantly this interview is about his keen interest in mountain climbing of which he gives a detailed description discussing planning, equipment, safety gear, climbing companions, avalanches and mountains climbed.

Overview This interview is part of the "Discovering Glengarry’s Community Spirit" project. In this interview Ted talks of his early life on farms that his father worked as a labourer around Central Otago as well as his education and sports interests i.e., cricket and rugby. He goes onto to talk of his employment in forestry in Southland, Otago and South Canterbury.
